BeauPDF can combine images into a PDF but does not recognise their text. No files can be sent to the OCR tool, and no availability date has been announced.
Prepare a readable document
Use a sharp, straight and well-lit image. Avoid shadows, cut-off pages and excessive compression. Expected quality depends on character size and the recognition engine used.
Check the recognised text
After running OCR with another tool, proofread names, amounts, dates and similar-looking characters. A text layer may contain errors even when the page looks correct.
Available tools
- Scans → PDF combines your images without text recognition.
- PDF → Text extracts text that is already selectable.
- PDF → CSV reconstructs tables containing selectable text. It does not recognise tables in a scan.
