Purpose and access
These terms govern the use of BeauPDF, published by EURL ZENATI, whose contact details appear in the legal notice. They are available before you start an operation.
The service transforms documents using the available tools. An account with a verified email address is required before any upload or processing. Features marked unavailable cannot be used.
How it works
Choose a tool, add the required files, adjust the available options and start processing. Accepted formats and tool-specific constraints are shown in each tool’s interface.
The general limits are 50 MB per file, 50 MB across all files, 50 files per operation and 500 PDF pages in total. Additional limits on volume, duration and complexity may cause an operation to be rejected.
The service is not a backup space. Keep your originals and download the results you need. File availability periods are described in the privacy policy.
Optional account
You can create a free account or sign in with an email address and a one-time code received by email. Use an address you control and keep your codes confidential; temporary or disposable addresses are refused. The account is used to find your data again on several devices.
You can delete your data, or your account with all its data, from your account. Deleting data from the service does not erase copies you have already exported or downloaded.
Account and personal space
An identified account is required to upload files and run tools. Files and processing records are kept for 30 days from their respective creation dates, up to 1 GB and 1,000 files per account, including uploads and results.
You can delete your files and request account deletion from your profile. Recent email verification is required to delete the account. If interrupted, deletion must be resumed from your space. Deleting files from the service does not remove copies already downloaded or shared.
A free service
BeauPDF is free for everyone. Every feature is included, with no paid plan and no advertising.
Results and limitations
Check the resulting file’s content, layout and properties before using or sharing it. Quality depends in particular on the source document, fonts, tables and the presence of extractable text.
- Conversions to office formats reconstruct the content; they do not guarantee an identical reproduction of the document.
- Tools based on text extraction do not recognise text on scanned pages. Optical character recognition is unavailable.
- The signature tool adds visible text. It certifies neither the signer’s identity nor the document’s integrity, and does not provide an electronic signature with a certificate.
- Comparison covers extracted text, not every graphical difference.
- Processing does not guarantee PDF/A-compliant archiving or an accessible document.
Permitted use
You are responsible for the content you submit. You must hold the rights needed to use the information it contains, in particular information about other people.
It is forbidden to use the service for unlawful content, to infringe the rights of others, to impersonate someone, to access other users' data or to circumvent technical protections and limits. Use that compromises security or availability may be interrupted or restricted.
The service is reserved for people aged 16 or over.
Personal data
The content you submit is sent to the service and its host to be processed and stored, with or without an account. The categories of data, recipients, retention periods and rights are described in the privacy policy. Using the service does not replace the obligations that apply to you when you submit data about other people.
Intellectual property
You keep your rights over the content you submit and over the files produced. You authorise the technical operations needed for the service, in particular the transmission, storage and processing of that content.
The elements of the site and the software used remain subject to their respective rights and licences.
Availability and liability
The service may experience interruptions, in particular for maintenance, incidents or overload. You can report a problem from the Contact page.
Each party is liable for the breaches attributable to it under the applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a liability or a right that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Reports and complaints
To report unlawful content or abnormal access, or to contest a restriction, use the report contact details. State the facts, the date and the email address of the account concerned, and give us a way to reply to you.
Changes and applicable law
These terms may change with the service. The version and its update date are published on this page.
French law applies, subject to the mandatory rules protecting consumers in their country of residence. In the event of a dispute, you can first send a complaint to EURL ZENATI. The competent court is determined by the ordinary rules of law.
These terms are published in French, English, German, Spanish and Italian. In the event of a discrepancy, the French version prevails.
